It was suggested that I start a blog now that I’m not sharing on social media. I’ve never blogged before so it’s one more thing to explore.
I began a large scale landscape in oil. It will be the 8th time I’ve painted this view of the rock wall on the trail to Mount Hefty. So far so good. Every rendition has been different but this time I’m staying as close as I can to the actual color of the rock. It’s such a beautiful slate blue.
Meanwhile, I’ve been setting up a nook in the studio for ceramic work, including a wheel for throwing. My dear friend and hard working Ceramic Artist, Heidi Haugen has agreed to mentor me this next year.
